Seasonal Facilities

Seasonal Facilities Support staff play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of camp facilities. Their work supports a welcoming, well-organized environment where campers, families, and volunteers can fully enjoy their camp experience.

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean restrooms and common spaces; restock supplies.
• Support general facilities operations, minor repairs, and daily upkeep.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for camp sessions.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Communicate facility needs or concerns to leadership.
• Support logistics such as transporting supplies and setting up program spaces.
• Be flexible with shifting needs related to weather or events.
• Attend and participate in required pre-season on-site training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• The ability to establish positive relationships with a variety of people in multicultural environments.
• A willingness and ability to perform regular housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• A familiarity with and willingness to enforce all safety, emergency, and program-related policies.
• An ability to adapt to the changing needs of the program.
• A detail‑oriented approach with a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• A commitment to fostering a community that celebrates inclusivity and our camp values, which are inclusion, gratitude, possibility, friendship and safety.
• A willingness and ability to comply with all camp policies, including providing medical and vaccine information to ensure the safety of our medically compromised campers.
• A minimum age of 18, as required for this role.
• A valid Driver's license and driving record which meets HITWG insurance carrier requirements.
• A willingness and ability to commit to a seasonal employment schedule the ranges from mid-April to mid-August and includes weekend work.
