Audio Visual Programmer

Overview

Nakupuna Solutions is seeking an Audio Visual Programmer Technician. The role will support VTC hardware and software for various networks, operating and maintaining common-user VTC suites, providing access for VTC and secure phone equipment, and offering design and installation advice. They will coordinate VTC Bridge usage across multiple sessions and assist end users with setting up accounts on desktop applications.

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of VTC equipment and software.
• Provide technical support and assistance in the research, design, installation, troubleshooting, and operation of VTC equipment and applications.
• Align managed systems, including Windows Operating Systems, images, containers, PODs, and Nodes, with DISA STIGs and security requirements to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards for registered applications within the network.
• Coordinate and maintain the conference room scheduler for the main Service Center conference rooms that require video teleconferencing.
• Assist customers in locating and booking conference room facilities and SVTC bridge numbers based on meetings.
• Assist users with reserving, training, and hosting Teams Live Events (e.g., town halls and educational sessions), as well as supporting live events in local on-site auditoriums and large event spaces.
• Coordinate, implement, and run classified video teleconferences.
• Assist customers in securing conference cards via the teleconference card process, track user accounts, and elevate issues.
• Provide technical support and assistance in the design, acquisition, installation, and operation of the equipment.
• Develop SOPs as needed.
• Provide 99.0% uptime of telecommunications systems during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1800, and infrequent support outside normal business hours.
• Monitor, claim, update, and complete customer requests through the CIO Portal ticketing system by gathering information, conducting research, and corresponding with customers as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred in one of the following fields:
  • Electronics Technology
  • Audio/Visual Technology
  • Information Technology
  • Telecommunications
  • Computer Science
  • Related technical field

Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,000.00 to $91,000.00 (annualized USD).
