Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• ICU experience required - travelers will cover both IMC and ICU units

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Every other weekend required

• Float to ICU and Med Surg as needed

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required

• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Experience required with PCU/stepdown procedures, post cardiac angiogram care, chest tubes, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drips

• Charting system experience required (Cerner)

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit with a daily census of 9 patients, providing specialized care between medical-surgical and intensive care levels. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The unit is equipped with ventilators, tracheostomy care equipment, IV non-titratable drips, high flow nasal cannula, and dialysis capabilities to support complex patient care needs.
