Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts between days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and nights (11:00 PM - 11:30 PM)

• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts

• Every other weekend required

• Every other holiday required

• Float within skillset as needed

• 2 years of experience required

• Travel experience required

• Charge experience preferred

• General emergency department combined adult/pediatric setting experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS

• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, MAB

Required skills:

Triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy

• Must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within past 8 months

• Triage experience is a hard requirement

• No on-call required

• Must have either compact license or Maryland license

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Two supervisor references required

• Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract

• Labs and drug screen appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing

The 40-bed emergency department provides comprehensive emergency services with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support.
