Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• 4x12 schedule working every other weekend

• Cover both IMC and ICU units as needed

• Float to ICU and Med Surg as required by facility needs

• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses

• Work with ventilators, tracheostomies, IV non-titratable drips, HFNC, dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis equipment

• ICU experience required with 2 years of nursing experience minimum

• MS/Tele and Cardiac Telemetry experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS

• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Experience with Cerner charting system required

• 24-hour orientation provided

• First-time travelers accepted

• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed IMC unit with a daily census of 9 patients, providing intermediate care services with comprehensive interdisciplinary support. The facility offers physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires specialized training and certification for nursing staff working in critical care areas.
