Job Details:

• Work 3x12 rotating day and night shifts & )

• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients on days, nights, and weekends

• Float required to other units as needed

• Every other weekend required

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Must have Maryland license or compact license

• Two supervisor references required

• Experience with Cerner charting system required

• Skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, central line care, PCA, wound care, and tracheostomy management

• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 30-bed unit with daily census of 28

• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract
