the primary role of the test engineer is to lead software testing activities within a mission‑critical agile development environment. You’ll own the release process, support automated and manual testing, and collaborate with developers and analysts to validate functionality, performance, and stability.

• develop and execute automated and manual test plans
• lead performance, regression, and readiness testing across multiple environments
• document discrepancies and maintain issue tracking systems
• guide readiness reviews and participate in sprint‑level qa reviews
• provide test documentation and metrics for customer reporting
• collaborate with developers to improve ci/cd pipelines and test coverage

• b.s. In electrical engineering or related discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• minimum of 5 years' experience in development of test solutions to support testing in a production environment, including on‑going support
• experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, jmeter)
• familiarity with test planning, defect management, and qa documentation
• strong communication and documentation skills
• an active ts/sci with polygraph

• familiarity with gitlab ci/cd, robot framework, and cloud‑based test environments
• experience in agile or devsecops environments
• ability to evaluate complex systems for readiness and stability

$155,000 – $185,000

the pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
