This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Qualifications- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
The System Engineer shall be responsible for consolidating multiple Jira Service Desk instances and creating a unified, user friendly customer service desk to enhance the HPC organization’s service management capabilities and user experience.
Position Required Skills- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
- Extensive experience with Jira Service Desk configuration, administration, and customization.
- Proficient in UI/UX design and development using relevant tools and frameworks.
- Experience with API integration and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiar with Agile software development methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience with Git Source Control System.
