Physical Education Teacher

Clinton High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher for the 2026‑2027. This full‑time position requires a commitment to student growth, innovative teaching methods, and collaboration with faculty, staff, and the community to promote a well‑rounded educational experience.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and promote physical fitness, health education, and wellness.
• Assess student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their physical education goals.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters respect among students.
• Organize and supervise physical education activities, including team sports, individual fitness, and health‑related programs.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and participation in physical education activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical education and health education.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for all students.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education.
• Strong knowledge of physical education curricula, teaching methods, and assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
