Travel Care Specialist: Washington D.C. | Baltimore, MD

A Travel Care Specialist (TCS) must:

• Be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have proven ability to communicate fluently in English (verbally and written); proficiency in a second language, especially Spanish, is a plus.
• Be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Provide overall customer care; answer incoming customer requests for travel and company service information via phone and/or online customer service database.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues.
• Guide and support customers navigating the company website, assist with troubleshooting, placing, and exchanging online ticket reservations.
• Educate, inform, and enforce company guidelines and policies professionally.
• Provide ADA (American Disability Act) travel and service information and arrange travel assistance in compliance with ADA law.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the ticket counter as needed.
• Promote and sell tickets and seasonal services (gift certificates, etc.) via phone and ticket counter.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing and data entry.
• Answer Customer Care calls and voicemails.

• Assist drivers with job and bus assignments.
• Load buses, manage luggage accountability, and handle Lost and Found operations.

Additional Key Skills:

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds of luggage.
• Basic computer skills.
• May be required to travel to other locations for support, such as short-staffed shifts or holiday support.

Position is located at Union Station, Washington D.C., and Downtown Baltimore, MD.
