Monday–Friday; 10PM–6:30AM (3rd Shift)

This position supports engineering and laboratory teams by performing testing, collecting manufacturing process data, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, including processing biological samples, supporting product release testing, and participating in Lean and 5S projects to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Job Description- Perform laboratory test procedures to support production, product release, validation of new processes, and system monitoring.
- Collect and process biological samples, including working with live blood laboratory procedures and donor samples.
- Set up, maintain, clean, and monitor laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with established protocols.
- Prepare reagents and standard solutions using established formulas and procedures.
- Conduct chemical and microbiological testing to support validation and product release.
- Monitor testing schedules and maintain quality standards while completing all required documentation.
- Record and analyze test data, identify abnormal results, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain laboratory supplies and ensure proper levels of materials and protective equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and identify potential hazards to prevent workplace injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Support engineering initiatives including Lean process improvements and 5S workplace organization projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to test and validate processes.
- Provide guidance and training to new team members once fully trained.
- Minimum 6 months of laboratory experience (open to recent graduates with lab experience)
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong quality and documentation practices
- Willingness to learn phlebotomy procedures and complete training
- Ability to analyze data and follow laboratory protocols and SOPs
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, preferred
- Phlebotomy certification, preferred
