Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with ICU experience for a hospital-based evening/night rotation position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting

• Care for pediatric and adult patients in Phase I, Phase II recovery, and Pre/Post operative stages

• Shifts include 4x10 evenings (13:00-23:30) and 3x12 nights (19:00-07:30), with rotation between shifts

• Call required from 23:00 to 07:00 Monday through Friday as needed

• No weekend or on-call shifts required

• Provide pre- and post-anesthesia care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics

• No weekend shift coverage is required

• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a different rate

• Holiday coverage is not specified in this posting
Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required

• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including ICU and PACU experience

• Experience with pediatric PACU and all phases of recovery required

• First-time travelers will be considered
