Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Pay: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Start Time: Flexible between 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM EST
Hours: 40 hours/week with overtime as needed, including weekends
Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, and testing electronic equipment in a depot repair environment. This role directly supports operational efficiency by restoring equipment to proper working condition while maintaining accurate documentation and following quality, safety, and environmental standards.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish electronic equipment.
- Inspect incoming machines to identify required repairs, upgrades, or damage.
- Repair equipment by replacing or repairing circuit boards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components.
- Refurbish machines by replacing worn parts and cleaning exterior covers.
- Perform final functional testing on repaired or refurbished equipment.
- Document incoming and outgoing machines using systems such as Oracle, Tulip, and Microsoft Office.
- Maintain accurate repair records and parts usage documentation.
- Meet established KPIs, productivity targets, and quality goals.
- Support Operational Excellence initiatives, including lean and continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with ISO 14001 standards and internal environmental management systems.
- Work overtime and weekends as required by business needs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic devices.
- Experience repairing industry-related equipment preferred, minimum 6 months.
- Working knowledge of circuit boards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components.
- Ability to accurately document work using computer-based systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends.
- Electronics degree required.
- Open to recent graduates; prior hands-on experience is not mandatory.
