Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; CRNA

• Provide professional anesthesiology services, including supervision and management of anesthesiology for hospital patients.
• Administer general anesthesia, including surgical, pediatric, thoracic, and obstetric anesthesia.
• Perform intravenous sedation, regional blocks, and conductive anesthesia as necessary.
• Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications.
• Respond to emergency codes as required.
• Collaborate with the OR Leadership Team, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff.
• Maintain compliance with generally accepted medical standards in all clinical services.

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) - Required
• Iowa license (or willingness to obtain) or IMLC - Required
• 5+ years of CRNA work experience - Preferred
• Experience with procedures in both adult & pediatric patients - Required
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire) - Required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire) - Required
• Clean malpractice history - Preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) - Required

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
• Iowa State License or IMLC
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
