Overview

Hematology/Oncology Physician opportunity in Clinton, IA with Mercy One. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to join a well-established practice located in Clinton, Iowa. Full-time position attached to the hospital with a strong support structure.

• Split time between Hematology and Medical Oncology (approximately 30% Hematology / 70% Medical Oncology).
• See an average of about 30 patients per day (new visits allocated 30 minutes; follow-ups 15 minutes).
• Be supported by four RNs, a Medical Assistant, a CNA, and a receptionist.
• Inpatient infusion coverage supported by hospitalists; after-hours calls are minimal and by phone only.
• Collaborate within a professional, physician-led medical group; autonomy to build the practice within a cohesive team environment.
• Practice is adjacent to the hospital; onsite Radiation Oncology is an outreach of the University of Iowa.

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa and Illinois
• Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications as needed
• Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome to apply)

• Full-time employed opportunity; duties at Davenport and Clinton clinics with shared call
• Competitive compensation with three-year guarantee: $650k in years 1-2, year 3: $600k plus wRVU, then transition to wRVU model
• $150,000 sign-on bonus
• Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
• Relocation allowance up to $15,000
