Job Title:

Full Time opportunity Monday–Friday with one Saturday per month. Healthcare benefits through Cigna (medical, dental, vision), 403B, PTO. $500 sign‑on at 90 days if Registered (RMA) or Certified (AAMA or NHA); $500 sign‑on at 9 months.
Role And Responsibilities- Apply evidence‑based guidelines from major regulatory and specialty groups.
- Perform pre‑visit preparation for all primary care patients scheduled to be seen.
- Collaborate with the primary care nurse and provider for e‑huddles using the Planned Care Dashboard.
- Prepare patients for telehealth visits, guide them on video technology.
- Manage virtual telehealth sessions for multiple providers using Zoom (set up rooms, admit patients).
- Support clinical teams in paperwork collection, records requests, scheduling follow‑up visits, and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with providers and support staff to facilitate appropriate telehealth patient flow.
- Document chief complaint and results from evidence‑based screening tests.
- Perform and document vital signs, CLIA waived tests, EKG, hearing & vision test.
- Prioritize daily work responsibilities, reduce waiting time, schedule tests and referrals per provider orders.
- Maintain clean, orderly, safe work environment, oversee supplies and medical logs.
- Set up and stock exam rooms, clean rooms at end of day.
- Adhere to infection control standards, Universal Precautions, safety policies, and maintain yearly CPR certification.
- Exhibit excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Complete agency mandated in‑service training workshops.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant course from an accredited/recognized school.
- Medical Assistant board certification/registration, required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Experience with EKG use, appointment scheduling, word processing, and medical testing procedures.
- Organizational skills and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team‑focused with demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Current CPR certification (Professional Rescuer & AED) or American Heart Association BLS/AED for Healthcare Providers.
- Bilingual.
- Expert knowledge of electronic health record.
