Service Electrician

Malace|HR is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician. The position will be mobile with commercial accounts. A company provided work van outfitted with all essential tools will be provided. Normal hours are 8 AM- 6 PM.

Qualified Candidates must be able to perform the following: lighting installation/fixtures, wire and test control panels, bend and mount electrical conduit, start and test new control circuits, basic troubleshooting, fire alarm experience is a plus, read blueprints, work at multiple job sites in a day and/or week, install, maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guideline, pull and run wire, and install panels.

• Valid Drivers License
• Correctly complete necessary documents (work tickets and timesheets) in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Demonstrate ability to complete necessary customer paperwork and invoicing requirements.
• Proficient in operation of smart phone, tablet and or laptop
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Drive a company Vehicle safely to customer locations.
• Ability to work outdoors

• Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers
• Service and maintain commercial electrical systems on an emergency, non-emergency, and preventative bases
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical equipment
• Other duties as assigned
