Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Hospitalist Nights Clinton Township

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides inpatient medical care, with the supervision but not necessarily the presence of a qualified physician member of the medical staff; e.g.:
  Patient history, physical examination, ordering and interpreting tests, making diagnoses and instituting treatment plans.
• APP provides inpatient consultation on internal medicine conditions and may unction as a critical team member on the hospital code team.
• NP or PA In conjunction with the supervising physician conducts admission evaluations and assessments and provides inpatient medical coverage for community physicians as necessary. May be required to take call.
• Specific procedures within the Department of Medicine are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.
• This is a 36-hour position with full time benefits.

• Must be a master's prepared Registered Nurse who has graduated and taken the board certification within their chosen specialty
  -ORM
  - Requires a bachelor's degree; completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program.

Certified Nurse Practitioner;
Licensure as a Registered Nurse OR certified or licensure as a Physician Assistant. BCLS Certification
