Job Overview

Auto Zone’s delivery driver role is a frontline customer‑service position that helps customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Drivers maintain well‑stocked inventory, provide expert advice, and enhance the shopping experience, playing a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive retail environment.

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and installation service.
• Collaborate closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Operate company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers and load/unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through Auto Zone systems, maintain delivery vehicles, and report any issues promptly.

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to Auto Zone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Full‑time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
