Overview
We have partnered with a well-established Personal Injury law firm to fill this Associate Workers' Compensation Attorney role ASAP due to ongoing case volume and growth within their Workers' Compensation practice.
Responsibilities- Handle Workers' Compensation matters from intake through resolution.
- Appear before the New Jersey Division of Workers' Compensation for hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
- Support senior attorneys with litigation and case management.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active New Jersey Bar admission (required).
- 0-4 years of Workers' Compensation experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a high-volume practice.
- Salary: $75,000
