Laboratory Assistant

Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Clifton, NJ.
This is a 3-4 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Pay Range: $18 - $20 (Based on Experience)

Schedule: 11pm-8AM night shift. Mon-Fri with rotational Saturday.

Duration: 04-05 months with possible extensions

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
