Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will assist with day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and record keeping for the organization. This position supports the accounting team by ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards.

• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations (e.g. prepaid expenses, other receivables, accrued expenses, and/or intercompany accounts).
• Maintain and update accounting records and documentation.
• Support external audits by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP).
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ad‑hoc reports, and accounting software (such as Epicor or similar ERP systems).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a corporate finance environment.
• Exposure to ERP systems or advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
