Under the direction of the Lead Welder and Welding Operations Supervisor, the Welder is responsible for moving between production assignments, MIG welding, and fabricating various metals for production. The position is based at the Cleves location. Hours are Monday–Thursday from 5 am–3:00 pm or Monday–Thursday from 7 am–5 pm, with a high probability of required overtime.

• Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
• Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using MIG welding processes.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints and welding process specifications when necessary.
• Fits up complicated but standard structures and weldments involving a considerable number of parts and details.
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2–3+ years of welding experience outside of school setting required.
• TIG and Aluminum welding preferred.
• MIG welding experience required.
• Experience using measuring tools including tape measures and calipers.
• Experience operating a jib crane preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and machine sketches preferred.
