- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and resolve concerns.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
- Explain and promote benefits, offerings, and services; assist with loyalty program enrollment.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
- Explain how to use the Target App (Wallet) and direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering features.
- Handle returns following Target’s policies and procedures with assistance from leadership as needed.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock during store hours while remaining available to guests.
- Maintain safety and compliance, report hazards, and follow policies and training.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws (e.g., alcohol laws).
- All other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including team members.
- You thrive in a fast-moving, active environment requiring teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving.
- You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
- Effective communication with guests and colleagues; positive language and attentiveness to guest needs.
- Welcoming, helpful attitude toward guests and team members; ability to educate guests about products and services.
- Attention to detail; ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology; work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally; flexible to work in varying temperatures and conditions for roles like Drive-Up or carryout.
