Area Maintenance Engineer

Join Wood Spring Suites Cleveland as an Area Maintenance Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our property. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep to keep our facilities running smoothly and delivering a comfortable experience for our guests.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes on all repairs and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Collaborate with management and other team members to plan maintenance schedules and upgrades.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies.

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, building maintenance, or a related field.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.

• Competitive hourly wage of $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
