Our scribes follow the physicians throughout their entire shift, managing all of the documentation for each patient, all the while learning medical terminology, diagnoses, clinical profiles, and gaining amazing clinical experience.
Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for candidates, who are interested in gaining medical experience, to join our team at Phys Assist Scribes in Cleveland, TN. Our scribes work in the emergency department at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Cleveland.
As a medical scribe you will do the following:
- Work side by side physicians as they see patients
- Document the patient history
- Document the physical exam
- Prepare plans for follow up care
- Enter x-ray, lab, and diagnostic test results
Physician Shadowing, Hospital Volunteering, EMT, Research Assistant, Pre-Medicine, and Pre-health a plus!
