Bus Driver (Part-Time)

Cleveland Central Catholic is seeking interested and qualified candidates for a part-time bus driver position for morning and afternoon runs. There are also opportunities for additional bus runs for field trips and athletic events.

Job Responsibilities:

The morning hours are from 5:30-8:00 a.m. and the afternoon hours are from 2:00-4:30 p.m.

Transporting students to sporting events, field trips and other sites within designated routes.

Ensure the safety of the student passengers while meeting established bus schedules

Safe operation of a school bus.

Picking up and dropping off students at designated stops

Maintain order and proper discipline of students according to school policy

Conduct safety and operational inspections of assigned vehicle daily

Reports needed mechanical repairs.

Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating conditions.

Attends driver training programs as required.

Job Requirements:

Hold a valid drivers license with CDL Class B endorsement

Strong background and experience with high school students

Able to pass FBI/BCI background check

Uphold the values of the Catholic faith

VIRTUS certified or willing to be certified

Bus drivers are paid hourly and also receive 12 paid holidays throughout the school year.
