Position Summary
The Corporate Logistics Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for enterprise-wide logistics and fleet operations across multiple locations. This role is accountable for transportation strategy, freight optimization, fleet asset management, supplier and customer partnerships, and driving measurable cost savings and revenue enhancement initiatives. The position plays a critical role in operational excellence, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.

- Manage all aspects of domestic and international transportation and preparation of documentation across multiple divisions and shipping locations to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate and manage the collaboration with freight forwarders and 3rd Party Logistics Partners to facilitate transportation of freight.
- Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals at multiple locations by defining departmental objectives, evaluating activities, promoting agility and cost consciousness, addressing personnel matters, and ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
- Partner directly with Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse Teams to ensure strategic alignment, establishment of best practices, and promote efficient daily prioritization.
- Develop, analyze, and present to senior management strategic KPIs for measuring logistics performance both internally and with key outside logistics partner.
- Build and foster strong business relations with carriers and 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) partners including contract negotiation, performance review, and balancing quality service and competitive cost.
- Provide visibility for inbound and outbound shipments and proactively communicate any challenges.
- Actively engage cross-functionally with Order Management and Commercial Teams to review customer routing guides and immediately address and resolve supply chain challenges/issues to meet or exceed strategic customers logistics expectations.
- Act as the liaison between Logistics and Finance: establish freight cost budget, oversee audits, and the reconciliation, allocation, and approval of all freight spend and transportation costs.
- Accountable to establish annual multi-divisional departmental budget and review and manage all expenditures.
- Collaborate with peers to create efficiencies, reduce costs, and standardize processes.
- Manage the ongoing daily and annual operations.
- Ensure compliance for all C-TPAT; USMCA, ISO Sustainability; & FTZ requirements and manage the training and up-to-date certification for Haz Mat; DOT; IATA; IMO.
- Work with Safety & Regulatory to build processes and systems to classify products and maintain up to date and accurate GHS SDS Transportation Section 14 information.
- Maintain knowledge and remain current of best practices including the most efficient and cost-effective transportation methods.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Manages a team of Supervisors, Team Leads and Teammates in Transportation.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and disciplining employees.
- 5+ Years Logistics/Transportation Planning experience, preferably in a production field.
- 3+ Years Personnel Management Experience.
- Project Management Experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Strong communication skills, manage multiple tasks, and work well under pressure and strict time constraints.
- Hazardous material certification preferred. Understanding of DOT, IMO and IATA regulations.
- BS/BA 4 Year College degree, required.
- Concentration in business or supply chain, desirable.
