Cruisin’ Tikis Cleveland provides unique public and private tiki boat cruises along the scenic Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie. Based in downtown Cleveland at North Coast Harbor Marina, our handcrafted tiki boats can accommodate up to six guests. All cruises are led by experienced, U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains to ensure a safe and fun time for passengers. The cruises are ideal for celebrations, corporate events, or anyone wanting to enjoy Cleveland’s waterfront in a memorable way.

This is a part-time, seasonal, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH, for a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain carrying a Great Lakes endorsement. The captain will safely navigate and operate our custom tiki boats on the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie, providing an enjoyable experience for guests. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of all passengers, maintaining clean and operational vessels, adhering to maritime regulations, and delivering excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.

• Active U.S. Coast Guard captain’s license with experience in vessel operation and navigation
• Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and adherence to maritime regulations
• Strong customer service and communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for passengers
• Basic understanding of vessel maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
• Ability to manage time effectively and navigate schedules during peak seasons
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Experience on rivers, small boats, or similar marine environments is a plus
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred
