Furniture Delivery Driver

Overview

As a Furniture Delivery Driver with Clark's White Glove Delivery, you're a delivery professional who takes pride in building relationships with customers and representing our company. You will work with a delivery assistant (two-person teams) to deliver a variety of high-end home furnishings to homes and businesses. Prior to departing for deliveries, you will support merchandise quality and product staging as items are prepared for delivery.

• Deliver furniture as part of a two-person team, ensuring high-quality customer service and a professional delivery experience.
• Support merchandise quality and product staging prior to and during deliveries.
• Prioritize safety and accuracy in handling and delivery of items.

• You re athletic — including core strength, agility and stamina.
• You enjoy working outside the confines of an office and value variety in daily experiences while engaging with customers in their homes and businesses.
• You are an effective communicator who also values over-communication; you pay close attention to details and are innovative and quick to resolve issues, using your own discretion to make things right for the customer.
• You are empathetic and sensitive to being in customers  homes or businesses, approaching each unique customer with care and agility to create an exceptional delivery experience.
• You take great care in working safely and handling product with attention to detail.
• You bring a sense of camaraderie and value the close relationships you ll develop with your delivery assistants.
• You value a professional workplace and collaboration with peers and the broader team.

• Delivering furniture requires stamina; you must stay in shape and work safely. You must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck and carry heavy items (200 lbs+) with the assistance of your delivery assistant and/or proper lifting equipment.
• You may be cross-trained in other roles and may be asked to work in other warehouse-related roles throughout the delivery center (e.g., to cover vacations).
• You will need a For Hire Endorsement and a DOT Medical Card.
• Salary: $30 - $32 per hour.
