Responsibilities- Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each customer interaction is positive.
- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
- Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
- Possess and carry a valid state-issued driver’s license while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills and similar hazards to the garage office.
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary, if authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist customers.
- Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, where applicable (e.g., at airport locations).
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience
Required:
Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement: Per DOT Regulations, you will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.
DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, work with two-digit numbers, and multiply/divide using 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations with American money units.
Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear a complete uniform at all times.
Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment. May sit, climb or balance occasionally. May lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Salary and BenefitsSalary Range: $22.50 per hour (+ tips). This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
