Role PurposeThe GSE fueler is responsible for fueling all ground support equipment for Menzies, as well as the airlines and other airline tenants/vendors.
This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
What You Will Be Doing- Fuel ground support equipment for airline customers and Menzies Aviation equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is topped off with gas/diesel.
- Ensure all customer deicers are topped off with gas/diesel.
- Able to work the overnight shift (hours TBD).
- Adhere to strict attendance policy.
- Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
- Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
- Drive and operate specialized commercial vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid US driver’s license.
- Must pass pre‑employment colour vision test.
- Must pass pre‑employment drug screen.
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
- Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
- Able to work any shift.
- Prior experience preferred, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred).
