Java Engineer - Microservices Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Backend Developer to support one of our top clients. This person will be focused on supporting the Pricing application for Service Channels. They will be working with micro‑services with Spring boot, joining an agile based team with bi‑weekly 2 week sprints. Tickets will come through Jira and they will support tickets as they come. The role requires strong Java skills and experience with Hibernate.

Collaboration with other developers will support system integration and optimize application performance. The position will be onsite for the first two weeks, then can work remotely, with a requirement to come onsite for the bi‑weekly sprint a day a month. The role is roughly 60‑75 hours per week.
