Senior .NET Software Engineer (Web Apps) - 100% Remote

Hamilton Porter is a national recruiting firm that specializes in building top notch engineering teams for growth stage companies. We are currently partnered with a software platform provider that delivers automation as scale. Their focus is empowering branding to capture intent and drive more meaningful conversations with their customers through the utilization of AI and NLP.

We are looking to add a full-time Senior Software Engineer to our team. This is a 100% remote role and our next engineer will be helping produce scalable and enterprise web apps in the ASP.NET MVC framework. This is a full stack role but will slant a more towards front-end development using Angular, React, HTML5, and more.

• Frontend Development:
  Design, develop, and optimize responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular
  
  JS or React, from mockups into functional and appealing webpages
• Backend Development:
  Build and maintain robust APIs and backend logic using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Azure SQL Server using Entity Framework and Dapper.
• Requirement Scoping:
  Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define and document application requirements.
• Best Practices:
  Implement and advocate for industry best practices in coding, security, design patterns, and system architecture.
• Performance Optimization:
  Continuously monitor and enhance application performance across both the frontend and backend.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
  
  Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high-quality application delivery.
• Technical Leadership:
  Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
• Documentation:
  Maintain clear and concise documentation of systems, APIs, and processes.
• Deployment:
  Participate in production deployments and verification.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience (ideally in C# / .NET)
• Strong frontend expertise and solid backend proficiency
• Familiarity with deploying and managing applications in Azure (any Azure certs are a plus along with any experience with Azure Monitor or App Insights)
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Team player!!!!
• Competitive Annual Salary ($140,000 - $165,000 DOE)
• Annual Bonus Program (5% - 10%)
