General Maintenance Mechanic - Union – JLL

What this job involves:
This position supports JLL's operational excellence by performing essential maintenance and repair work across building systems and equipment. As a General Maintenance Worker, you will utilize practical skills across multiple trades to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, directly contributing to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional property management services to our clients.

This position operates under the Local 18s Union.

• Replace and repair electrical components including receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound
• Repair and replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water coolers, and toilets
• Paint structures and equipment to maintain aesthetic and protective standards
• Repair and replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles as needed
• Perform door hanging and lock installation tasks
• Replace broken windowpanes and perform general equipment maintenance

• Practical knowledge and skill in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting work
• Basic understanding of building maintenance and safety procedures
• 1 year of experience

$65,998.00 ($31.72 per hour)
