Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician responsible for handling maintenance and repairs of residential and commercial properties. This includes a commercial property of 32,500+ square foot property, Centro Villa 25, on the near West Side of Cleveland, OH. In addition, will assist with other residential property repairs and restoration. The Maintenance Technician will handle basic repairs and maintenance to include, replacing lights, smoke detectors, batteries, filters, door locks, landscaping care.

In addition, the ideal candidate will perform plumbing work, drywall repairs or replacement, basic electrical work, pest control and paint. We are seeking a candidate that will communicate in a professional and courteous manner with team members and customers. A background check will be required.

Seeking candidates that possess:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Two or more years of related experience required.

A valid Ohio Driver’s license & current car insurance to drive to various residential and commercial locations required.

Tools required for above mentioned daily responsibilities.

Ability to take apart equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts.

Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and pest control work.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot and make reasonable decisions for resolution.

Excellent attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.

Strong organizational and follow up skills.

Ability to work in wet, damp, hot, cold, or dusty places.

Ability to bend or kneel to gain access to work areas.

Must have a reliable personal vehicle to transport tools and requirement equipment to various residential and commercial locations required.

Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 75 lbs.
