What Youll Do

As a Field Service Technician, youll be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial and commercial steam and hot water boilers, burners, and auxiliary equipment. Youll:

  • Perform combustion testing, fuel/air ratio adjustments, and system calibrations using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and retrofits on a wide range of boiler systems and components.
  • Support the installation and start-up of new boilers and burner systems.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, flame safeguard systems, and troubleshooting instruments.
  • Maintain detailed service records, identify sales leads, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Qualifications:

Youre a self-motivated technician who loves getting hands-on with challenging mechanical systems. You take pride in your work, stay calm under pressure, and deliver solutions that make a real impact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of mechanical or industrial service experience (boiler or burner systems preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of combustion systems, controls, and fuel/air ratio tuning.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, piping schematics, and blueprints.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel throughout Northern Ohio (occasional out-of-state work).
  • Flexibility for on-call rotations, overtime, and emergency service when needed.
  • Technical or vocational certification a plus (e.g., Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
