Building Maintenance

Salary Range: $20/hour to $23/hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Playhouse Square Real Estate Services is looking for someone to perform day-to-day maintenance activities as well as complete projects and preventative maintenance. Must be available for after-hours work and emergency call-ins.

• Perform general maintenance including painting, carpentry, plumbing, etc. as assigned
• Check building lighting on a weekly basis as assigned; re-lamp as needed.
• Assist Lead Engineer in maintaining and organizing an adequate stock of parts and supplies.
• Help maintain proper and current list of equipment manuals and MSDS sheets.
• Participate in building and tenant improvement projects as assigned.
• Maintain a good working relationship with tenants and employees.
• Take care of tenant complaints and building issues as assigned.
• Make recommendations for ways to improve operations and efficiency.
• Be available for after hours work and emergency call in.
• Be available to cover suburban properties as needed.

• Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
• SMA Certification and Boiler's license, a plus.
• One year experience in related field or vocational training.
• Basic knowledge of current PC hardware and software, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job (climb ladders, access roofs, moving equipment, etc.)
• Must have reliable transportation (mileage paid by employer).
