Business Development, Sales Representative
The National Fleet Representative supports the National Fleet Manager in achieving sales goals across assigned accounts, including collectible sales, margin, and retread objectives. They help meet sales and supply commitments while promoting a strong culture of safety and wellness. This role focuses on becoming a trusted advisor by delivering innovative solutions that enhance the customer’s tire maintenance program and reduce operating costs.
The representative works in alignment with Goodyear’s mission and embraces the “One Team – One Network” mindset.
- Use business solution tools (e.g., TV Track, mileage projections, evaluations, RAR reviews, scrap analysis, training, fleet dashboards) to document delivered value and audit customer/dealer process compliance.
- Exceed AOP targets for new tire and retread units while growing Fleet
HQ Solutions revenue and converting assigned target accounts. - Submit weekly call reports, competitive insights, and ad‑hoc requests, while improving collectible sales through higher-value new and retread tire mixes.
- Manage sales-related expenses and ensure travel activities produce strong ROI through impactful presentations and training.
- Collaborate with customers to forecast and communicate new tire and retread demand accurately to the supply chain.
- High school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of management, sales, or engineering experience with a high school diploma/GED, or 2+ years with a bachelor’s degree.
- Background in the tire or transportation industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating digital tools, email platforms, and online resources.
- Highly self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote, home‑based environment.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Industry knowledge in tires, transportation, or trucking preferred.
