Base Salary & Travel

$80,000‑$100,000 with annual bonus opportunities. Up to 50% travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of Strategic National Accounts (SNA) serviced within the regional company.
  • Establish and maintain high‑level relationships with decision‑makers in national, multi‑location companies.
  • Coordinate sales activities with regional sales management and local teams to ensure contractual commitments are met.
  • Communicate opportunities and issues for all SNA’s, including rollouts, implementations, and reporting requirements.
  • Escate‑active accounts that require national contacts to the national group and maintain an active/non‑active file.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and pricing agreements; understand strategic price points and technical bids.
  • Analyze existing customer database, identify new prospects, and implement strategies to acquire and enhance client relationships.
  • Work with the sales force to identify strategic account sales opportunities and prioritize targets based on existing relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between the regional company and National Accounts.
  • Keep abreast of current market trends and maintain a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field (or up to 4 years of related experience).
  • 7+ years of prior technical solution‑driven sales experience.
  • Broad knowledge of Airgas products and common processes.
  • Demonstrated relationship management and consultative aptitude; problem‑solve and devise technical solutions for customers.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills; ability to apply to customer sales analysis and cost comparisons.
  • Self‑motivated with excellent organizational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking skills.
  • PC skills in Google and Microsoft Applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with insurance coverage as required by company.
  • Frequent regional travel (50% or more of the work time) requiring overnight travel.
