* JOB DUTIES:
*** Clearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrations
* Partner with the marketing team to generate leads
* Find and maintain prospective clients
* Provide general technical support to clients

* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
*** Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years technical sales experience in the hi-tech automation industry segment.
* BSME or BSEE preferred
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
*** Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices.
* Ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships.
* Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
* Ability to multitask and manage time well.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products.
* Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
*** May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on need.
* Travel required

* SUMMARY:
** The Account Representative drives sales, identifies, and generates opportunities for various types of customers. This role fosters customer satisfaction by maintaining customer contact and managing customer expectations. The Account Rep must hold a firm grasp on mechanical, electrical and motor control concepts used in automated industrial machinery. The Account Rep will be responsible for maintaining/growing current customer relationships and growing sales with new customer acquisition pursuits.
The Account Rep will partner with our key vendors to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients to grow this established sales territory. Once they discover the client's needs, they will discuss our product portfolio and the technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
