Restaurant Shift Leader role at Rackson Restaurants
. The Shift Leader oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards. They interact with guests, supervise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanliness and safety. The Shift Leader works hands-on as needed, partners with the Management Team to execute the business plan, provides training to others, and resolves issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures.

Salary: $13.75 - $15.75 per hour

• Oversees all restaurant activities during the shift to ensure operational excellence
• Interacts with guests and resolves concerns promptly and effectively
• Supervises staff, provides training, and maintains high standards of service
• Manages cash handling procedures and ensures accuracy for transactions
• Maintains cleanliness, maintenance, and safety in the store
• Works hands-on as needed and assists across stations to support operations
• Plans and executes shift operations efficiently
• Adheres to brand standards for service, food quality, and safety
• Leads with empathy, fairness, and teamwork
• Identifies and develops talent for future roles
• Applies financial understanding to improve business decisions
• Ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience
• Previous fast food restaurant experience required
• English required;
  Spanish comprehension helpful. Basic reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills
• Strong leadership, including leading by example and remaining calm under pressure
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and escalate to the right stakeholders
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to help others
• Treats others with respect and care
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and/or English
• Self-motivated and action-oriented
• Accountability and willingness to admit mistakes and fix issues
• Prompt and reliable attendance; dependable
• Reliable transportation to work and company events
• Availability to work a variety of days/times including weekends, evenings, and holidays

  lift, move, carry, and stack up to 50 pounds; stand for long periods; bend, reach, and perform required motions; exposure to varying temperatures; potential hazards include slips, trips, burns, cuts, and falls
