Quality Assurance Technician

A food manufacturing leader is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety. Your work will help maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold our commitment to excellence.

• Monitor and verify product quality throughout all stages of production.
• Conduct inspections on in-process and finished products for temperature, weight, appearance, and labeling accuracy.
• Perform laboratory tests, including pH checks, allergen testing, and environmental/equipment swabbing to ensure food safety.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and prevent future problems.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMPs, and internal food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality checks and corrective actions.
• Serve as a trusted resource on the production floor for all quality-related questions and guidance.
• Report non-conformances and follow through on corrective actions to ensure long-term improvements.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Previous experience in quality assurance or food safety preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and food manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Comfortable working in cold and wet production areas as part of daily responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills-clear, confident, and proactive.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
