Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Technician to ensure our production processes and products meet the highest quality standards. The role involves conducting production floor process audits, final dock audits, routine lab testing, and reporting product nonconformances. The technician will work independently, perform measurement and testing procedures with precision, assist in resolving nonconformance issues, and communicate effectively with management.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct production floor process and product audits.
  • Perform final dock audits and routine lab testing.
  • Report and resolve product nonconformances.
  • Implement corrective actions and maintain gauge care.
  • Accurately perform measurement and testing procedures.
  • Work independently without direct supervision.
  • Handle multiple tasks through to completion.
  • Assist in resolving nonconformance issues promptly.
  • Communicate detailed information to supervision and management both verbally and in writing.
  • Participate in activities supporting the overall quality system.
Essential Skills
  • 1+ year of experience with micrometers and calipers.
  • 1+ year of experience interpreting blueprints or work instructions.
  • 1+ year of quality inspection experience.
  • Experience in receiving and final inspections.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in visual inspection and quality control.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, organized, mild-temperature, and well-lit facility. The environment is quiet, allowing employees to listen to music with one earbud. Gym shoes and casual dress are required, along with appropriate eye protection. The first shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with an early out option at 2:15 PM if the afternoon break is not used. The second shift is from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a shift differential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
