Job Location:
Cleveland, OH - Onsite

Job Type: Contract W2

Aprox Pay rate - $25 - $30/hr on W2

Shift & Schedule

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • 40 hours/week

Role Overview

The QC Analyst will support Quality Control laboratory operations by performing compendial and non-compendial analytical testing in a GMP-regulated environment
. The role requires strong hands‑on wet chemistry experience, data integrity awareness, and the ability to independently recognize and investigate out‑of‑specification (OOS) results while adhering to cGMP, safety, and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities Analytical & Laboratory Testing
  • Perform analytical testing including:
  • IR
  • pH
  • TLC plates
  • Solubility
  • Other wet chemistry analyses
  • Follow USP / EP / JP compendial methods
  • Execute validation protocols
  • Perform instrument and titrant verification/calibration
  • Utilize written SOPs and testing procedures accurately
Quality & Compliance
  • Conduct peer review of analytical data
  • Identify and investigate OOS / OOT results with minimal supervision
  • Determine root cause and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Data Integrity
  • Work in compliance with cGMP, ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001
    , and site procedures

  • Demonstrate strong planning, organization, and critical thinking
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Support process improvement, safety, quality, and 5S initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
  • Follow OSHA standards and PPE requirements
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences
  • + minimum 5 years of GMP laboratory experience
  • OR
  • Associate Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences
  • + minimum 10 years of non‑academic laboratory experience
Technical Skills
  • Strong wet chemistry background
  • Compendial testing (USP/EP/JP)
  • OOS investigations
  • Instrument calibration & verification
  • Documentation and data review
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365)
Soft Skills
  • Self‑motivated and proactive
  • Detail‑oriented
  • Strong initiative and problem‑solving ability
  • Team‑oriented with professional workplace behavior
Physical & Safety Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Exposure to chemicals requiring PPE
  • Potential exposure to human blood or blood products
  • Must pass:
  • Background check
  • Drug/alcohol screening
  • Pre/annual medical monitoring
