Position OverviewWe are looking for an Anesthesia Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT). Proposed schedule: 10‑hour shifts (four total) Monday‑Friday with on‑call coverage as needed.
What You’ll Do- Assist in patient procedures using anesthesia and analgesia protocols, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Manage appointments, obtain histories, keep medical records, handle invoicing, and coordinate patient discharges.
- Place intravenous catheters, intubate endotracheally, and maintain anesthetic equipment.
- Apply thorough understanding of anesthetic considerations and how comorbidities affect case protocol and perioperative management.
- Monitor anesthesia, troubleshoot complications, and make appropriate interventions.
- Continuously expand knowledge and skillset—advanced skills include arterial line placement, epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.
- Leverage a deep understanding of physiology and pharmacology to facilitate delivery of appropriate anesthetic care for high‑risk patients or procedures.

- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
- State‑registered Veterinary Technician license (required).
- Prior veterinary experience (required) with previous anesthesia experience desired.
- Proficient in drug calculations—constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.
- Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Hiring range: $18.75‑$38.00 per hour, based on experience.
