American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and night shift availability.

• Hospital-based Stepdown Neuro unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other holiday coverage required

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience required (travel experience counts toward this requirement)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Travelers may work at any facility location for no more than 18 consecutive months, with a minimum 6-month break required before starting another assignment at any location within the same health system
