Stepdown RN - Cleveland, OH

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse experienced in stepdown care, specializing in cardiac surgery patients. The role is based in the Cleveland, OH area and focuses on delivering skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, and heart transplants. The patient population also includes individuals recovering from postoperative lung surgeries and various cardiology-related procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for post-cardiac surgery patients, including those who have undergone CABG, valve replacement, and heart transplant surgeries.
• Manage care for postoperative lung surgery patients, including wedge resections, lobectomies, and double lung transplants.
• Monitor and treat patients in areas including the electrophysiology lab, catheterization lab, and general cardiology unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the recovery process.
