Position: Stepdown Nurse (RN) in Cleveland, OH
Deliver expert nursing care in a stepdown unit setting, providing safe, age-specific support to patients and their families. This role emphasizes the nursing process to help patients maintain or regain optimal health status through effective, relationship-based care. You will utilize technical nursing skills to ensure positive care outcomes while fostering clear communication and collaboration across clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in stepdown and various inpatient areas, including medical, surgical, and emergency settings.
• Implement nursing processes to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Maintain patient safety and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical operations.
• Support and demonstrate professional nursing practice leadership.
• Float between units including stepdown, medical, surgical, critical care, and emergency departments as needed.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience in stepdown or critical care nursing with strong clinical skills.
• Ability to manage nurse-to-patient ratios typically ranging between 1:5 and 1:6.
• Competence in handling a variety of inpatient units with flexibility to float.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
