American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position requiring an active OH or compact license and a minimum of 18 months of pediatric experience.

• Hospital-based PICU setting
• Rotating day/night shifts: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am (3x12-hour shifts)
• Shift rotation may be required based on operational needs, though preferred shift will be honored when possible
• Patient population includes pediatric patients up to 25 years of age
• Experience with epilepsy monitoring and specialized pediatric critical care
• Familiarity with EKGs and inotropes required

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the PICU or pediatric specialty required prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Proficiency with EKG rhythm recognition and inotrope management
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Provides critical care nursing to a pediatric population ranging from infants through young adults up to age 25, including patients requiring epilepsy monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required to proceed
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers are limited to a maximum of 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, with a minimum 6-month gap required before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic facility
